Addy is Adeko Collymore — the human voice behind the project and the writer of every line. Born on Sargeant Street in St. John, Barbados, he grew up inside the island’s sound: roots reggae, dancehall and carnival soca, and the storytelling that ties them together.
By trade he is a civil engineer and project manager — First-Class Honours in Civil Engineering, a Master’s in Building & Construction Management, a Master’s in Offshore Wind Energy passed with Distinction, and a PMP — and the founder of A. Colly Designs Inc., the label that releases the music. The same discipline that builds things meant to stand goes into how these songs are put together.
